Position Summary

The Data Analyst and Report Developer will deliver analysis, recommendations and reports to management, team members and compliance by understanding Momentus's complex set of lending programs and corporate financials.

Additionally, the Data Analyst and Report Developer will further develop and evolve our reporting capabilities in support of our growing internal and external needs.

This position will involve acquiring knowledge and assisting in the production support of over 50 Power BI reports.
Essential Responsibilities
Successfully deliver insightful analysis and reports to management, team members and compliance stakeholders by understanding Momentus's Capital complex set of lending programs, Ventures platform, on and off-balance sheet lending portfolios and the pertinent data associated with them
Drive the development and enhancement of our reporting capabilities to accommodate our expanding internal and external requirements

Master system technology to extract relevant data for reporting purposes, contributing to the understanding of lending impacts on balance sheets and income statements and be able to effectively communicate the results or recommendations.

Develop analytical tools to assess and model various segments of the loan portfolio, understanding the implications of loan sales on our balance sheet and income statement, and effectively communicate findings or recommendations.

Actively participate in Enterprise Data Management Reporting meetings, exploring integration of internal and external data sources for analysis.
Lead process automation initiatives, transitioning manual processes to automated solutions.
Assist in Quality Control and Assurance efforts and take a leadership role in creating Data Visualizations.
Contribute to report and data catalog creation, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Professional Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Minimum of (5) five years of experience within a financial institution environment, accompanied by a comprehensive understanding of lending practices, loan data management, and the broader lending industry.

Advanced proficiency in creating reports and visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI
Experience with QA/QC testing and working on projects with ambiguous specifications.
Understanding of relational data file structures, Salesforce data structure, and G-Suite tools.
Proficiency in SQL for writing queries against existing data warehouse structures.
Detailed-oriented and a natural problem solver; demonstrated knowledge of the significance of data analysis and reporting in driving informed decision-making and the ability to independently research problems with a solution-focused mindset

Proven track record in analyzing data and metrics, showcasing the ability to identify and address potential issues effectively through in-depth analysis.

Extensive expertise in managing and manipulating large datasets proficiently within Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data handling processes.
