- Oversee and manage inventory control operations within the warehouse
- Manage and maintain high levels of accuracy in your daily warehouse department operations
- Influence and support long term inventory control strategy
- Use advanced analytics to monitor inventory levels, forecast needs, and identify trends or issues translating complex data into actionable insights
- Compile and report on data for audits on a quarterly and annual basis
- Support project implementation and oversight, periodic reviews with team members, one-on-one mentoring, personnel training, customer alignment, system compliance, supply ordering, and area upkeep
- Lead and develop a team of inventory specialists, providing training and guidance, ensuring proper completion of cycle counts, minimum/maximum thresholds, audits, and all other inventory-related functions within the company
- Work to develop methods of motivation for team members to go above and beyond the status quo
- Lead the processes, procedures, and needs of the business to develop strategy, business metrics, and goals to successfully guide execution in regards to inventory management
- Managing LPN distribution centers and non-LPN showrooms
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Document and implement improvements both upstream and downstream to affect a positive impact to the organization
- Conduct regular internal audits and reconcile any discrepancies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights
- Lead cost saving opportunities, identifying internal/external cost reductions and optimization opportunities
- Monitor FIFO, aging, and E&Z concepts
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience
- 3-5 years of Inventory Control experience
- APICS CPIM Certification
- Knowledge of methods used to calculate inventory record accuracy
- Knowledge of financial reporting methods and standards
- Knowledge of methods used for the process of analyzing and developing Inventory Control best methods, process documentation, and work instruction documentation
- Demonstrated competency as a change agent with the ability to manage and lead small teams
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solution, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and leadership skills required in order to effectively communicate initiatives and drive key business initiatives through the leadership team, non-exempt populations, and cross functional teams
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and the ability to drive results
- Proficient in the use of basic statistics and other analytical tools
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Ability to operate on tight deadlines with multiple priorities that are subject to frequent changes
- Multiple location inventory control experience a plus

Four Hands is seeking a self-motivated Associate Director of Inventory Control with experience in a dynamic, multi-site distribution campus. This role will have a keen understanding of a total warehouse supply chain from receiving to shipping and excel in data analysis to provide meaningful measures and KPIs that drive excellence.
The ideal person will have proven successes in developing, executing, and refining inventory programs that support strategic initiatives. This role combines traditional inventory management responsibilities with advanced system and data analytics, requiring a candidate who is not only adept at leading a team but also at leveraging data to drive inventory optimization and efficiency.
