Job summary
The Engineering Intern role involves design engineering cost estimation project management responsibilities including investigating potential improvements assisting in evaluating production designing fabricating managing small projects learning how to operate equipment writing procedures training others modifying creating layouts conveying plans for equipment layout changes collecting analyzing production metrics KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Gain specific knowledge of our company's Product Line capabilities
- Evaluate projects by gathering proposals blueprints specifications documents information supplied
- Evaluate methods of production make improvements compute costs analyze labor material engineering requirements resolve discrepancies collect analyze information prepare special reports maintain build technical knowledge attending educational workshops reviewing technical publications conversing vendors colleagues contribute team effort accomplishing related results assigned all other duties
