What You'll Do:
Work on a full range of electrical planning, design, and operational services for wastewater projects.
Design work 75% of the time, with field site work and project management 25% of the time.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients as you design portions of projects related to electrical systems and code requirements, including power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.
Research and specify equipment needs based on commercially available equipment, project, and available technologies.Determine costs for proposed work and oversee costs during all phases of the projects.
Coordinate design and scheduling progress with HVAC, mechanical, administrative, process, and equipment vendors.
Conduct periodic site observations and guide relevant services required by the contract service agreement.
What You'll Bring:
Five or more years of experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent training.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.
Interest in working in the consulting industry.
A current Wisconsin Professional Engineer or Designer of Engineering Systems license or the wherewithal to obtain one within six months, with company assistance.
Desirable:
Experience in the industrial, commercial, or municipal water/wastewater markets, along with knowledge of water and wastewater processes from an electrical standpoint.
