    Overview


    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our team at our facility located in Export, PA, As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of our products.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP software, environmental health and safety, budgeting/forecasting, leadership/people management, high-level operations analysis, and lean manufacturing principles.

    Responsibilities

    Manage and coordinate production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
    Utilize ERP software to track and monitor production progress, inventory levels, and resource allocation
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving production efficiency and reducing costs
    Lead and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
    Conduct regular analysis of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles
    Monitor and control production budgets, forecasting future needs and optimizing resource allocation
    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production department
    Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
    Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, implementing best practices to enhance production operations
    Qualifications

    Proficient in ERP software, with the ability to effectively utilize it for production planning and tracking
    Prior experience in budgeting and forecasting, with a strong understanding of financial principles
    Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    High-level analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex production data and identify areas for improvement
    Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in a production environment
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production setting
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
