    12 Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

    Charting System:

    EPIC

    Unit Overview:
    32-bed Telemetry unit

    Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6

    Adult & geriatric population
    Monitor Techs onsite 24/7
    Charge nurse (modified assignment, ~2 patients)
    House Supervisor available 24/7

    Certifications Required:

    BLS

    ACLS
    Active license required at submission

    Required Experience:
    Med-Surg
    Telemetry
    Critical drip management
    Travel experience required
    Chemo experience preferred

    Drips (Must Be Comfortable Titrating):
    Nitro (chest pain only)
    Amiodarone
    Lasix
    Heparin
    Dopamine (low dose renal perfusion)
    RNs must review telemetry strips each shift (Charge RNs also read strips).

    Floating:
    May float to 3P or 5P (Med-Surg)
    May float to ED to care for boarded patients
    Float pool floats first; then unit rotation

    Scheduling Notes:
    Block scheduling possible but not guaranteed
    Weekend rotation: 1 & 3 or 2 & 4

    Dress Code:
    RN/


    LPN:
    Navy scrubs (solid only)
    Closed-toe shoes (No Crocs)
