Exciting Opportunity for Direct Hire with Relocation Assistance

Our client, a refinery, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing reliability enhancements for electrical distribution equipment, supporting maintenance activities, and developing strategies to improve maintenance and reliability of the refinery's electrical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
Investigate equipment failures and recommend reliability enhancements
Develop electrical scope, engineering packages, and define preventive maintenance
Create equipment specifications and reliability improvement plans
Review test data, evaluate equipment health, and provide repair/replacement recommendations
Offer technical support to a 24/7 facility
Support project development, cost estimation, design, and startup activities
Assist in creating maintenance and operating procedures
Promote Company electrical practices and adhere to industry standards
Coordinate with various business partners for project scopes

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in refining/industrial environments
Experience with medium voltage equipment
Ability to interpret electrical drawings
Knowledge in power system analysis and electrical analysis software
Experience with microprocessor relays and industrial electrical equipment
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in petrochemical production units and safety awareness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
