    An employer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to sit in a hybrid role in Auburn, WA.

    This role would be supporting the Additive Manufacturing division focused on the research and development of additive manufacturing for aerospace exploration.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing engineering requirements, creating statements of work, creating detail planning and work instructions for additive fabrication of parts, creating manufacturing bill of materials, communication across various disciplines, solving complex problems on the shop floor, and process improvements.


    Below include some of their responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and implement conceptual designs
    • Develop manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization
    • Conduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
    • Resolve complex technical problems
    • Serve as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained
    • Lead advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities
    • Deploy company Lean Enterprise analysis methods
    • Document and communicate producibility best practices
    • Provide guidance to others through structured mentoring

    Required Skills & Experience

    Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
    5+ years' experience in relative work experience
    Experience working with Manufacturing Planning Systems
    Experience with producibility within a manufacturing setting
    Ability to read/interpret manufacturing drawings and SOW's
