Our Nuclear Medicine team is leading the way in shaping the future of health care

Shift:
All Shifts
Provides quality care to the patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Provides direct quality care for patients receiving Nuclear Medicine and PET exams.
Sets up imaging rooms to include equipment and supplies. Seeks assistance when needed. Operates all diagnostic equipment, including Scintillation Cameras, PET Scanners, Uptake Probes, Well Counters, Dose Calibrators and GM Meters.
Ensures that imaging rooms are stocked.
Follows all safety requirements of the hospital and department. Practices radiation safety standards to prevent injury to patients and staff.
Enters procedures in Radiology Information System to ensure billing of exams/procedure. Prepares billing sheet and submits per guidelines.
Effectively communicates with patients, family and other health care team members.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology, be registered in Nuclear medicine with the ARRT or the Nuclear medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
