- Evaluate patients with various diagnoses to assess developmental or functional status.
- Set goals, develop treatment plans, and administer therapy accordingly.
- Provide therapeutic treatment to patients to enhance development and independence.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and educate patients on usage.
- Document evaluations, progress, and comply with hospital standards.
- Maintain administrative duties for individual caseload.
- Participate in education and training programs.
- Conduct educational sessions for hospital staff and the community.
- Supervise care provided by students and assistants.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
- Registered and licensed by relevant boards in Ohio.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
- CPR certification required within specified timeframe post-hire.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance necessary.
- Lifting/Carrying up to 15 pounds independently.
- Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Finger dexterity, kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching frequently.
- Constant talking, hearing, and visual attention.
- Regularly pushing and pulling objects.
