The position will dig into the details of environmental due diligence and environmental regulatory compliance, working closely with attorneys, while further developing the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Chemical and biological data analysis and contaminant fate & transport evaluation;
    • Remedial technologies reviews and feasibility studies;
    • Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, calculations, and implementation;
    • Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communications and participation in work progress meetings;
    • Assist with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;
    • Perform and review project calculations;Perform data analysis, including preparing maps (using GIS), tables, and figures; and
    • Based on your current level of experience, you may be asked to take on task-level or project management responsibilities, along with business development, and staff mentoring tasks.
    Education and Licensure:
    • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science (geology or hydrology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. (required)
    • Advanced degree in geology or environmental engineering. (preferred)
    • Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.) (preferred)
    Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
    • At least 5 years of experience (7+ preferred) in an environmental consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
    • Familiarity with water treatment technologies, emerging contaminants, and petroleum-related technologies. (preferred)
    • An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership. (preferred)
    • Project experience involving environmental regulatory compliance, historical research, and environmental assessment. (preferred)
    • Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
    • Regular fieldwork and overnight travel. (required)
    • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
    • Valid U.S. drivers license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
