    Mail Carrier Job Description

    As a Mail Carrier, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment delivering and collecting mail while interacting with customers along your route.

    • Duties:
      • Main Delivery Responsibilities include delivery of letters and packages via ground transportation vehicle or other appropriate mode as specified by management. Ensuring timely arrival at designated destination sites is an essential duty.
      • Customer Service responsibilities involve assisting postal patrons by providing information on available products, resolving complaints, and answering questions regarding services offered through the Postal Service; promoting American business standards to increase sale volume for regulated merchandise (i.e., stamps).

    The Role Overview


    This position requires applicants to pass an assessment which will be followed up with further steps.
    The multi-step hiring process entails multiple assessments that test knowledge about USPS operations.
    Even without prior experience candidates can apply since comprehensive training is provided by USPS upon selection.
    Once selected trainees are required to complete all necessary requirements before officially joining United States Postal Services workforce."
