    What you will do:

    • You will be a Systems Engineering Intern within the Aircraft SEIT Team
    • You will help to model functional and logical/physical architecture.
    • You will work closely with our lead engineers to learn Model Based Systems Engineering
    • You will review safety critical system analysis activities.
    • You will support the functional validation and system requirements development efforts
    • You will contribute to, write, test, and verify requirements at various levels

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Working toward B.S./M.S. in an Engineering discipline
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and proficient in technical writing
    • Some familiarity with aircraft certification process or UAM aircraft development
    • Some familiarity with ARP4754A, DO-160, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4761, Part 23/25.
    • Some familiarity in requirements management tools like Polarion, Doors, Requiem etc.
    • Some familiarity with MBSE process (Systems Engineering, Vee-model), language (SysML, ARCADIA) and tools (CAMEO, CAPELLA, etc.) and its use in complex system development

    Project Plan/ Statement of Work (SOW):

    • Model functional and logical/physical architecture.
    • Work closely with our lead engineers to learn Model Based Systems Engineering
    • Review safety critical system analysis activities based on today's best system engineering practices
    • Contribute to process development and process improvements
    • Support the functional validation and system requirements development efforts
    • You will contribute to, write, test, and verify requirements at various levels
    Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.
    This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.
    Eligibility Requirements For US Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA Must be legally authorized to work in the US Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
