We are looking for a Multi-crop Summer Research Intern and in this position, you will support the research activities for seed development.

You will assist with the overall management of the research plots, greenhouse activities, and develop operational knowledge in the area of seed research.

Assist sugarbeet, maize and small grain programs in sowing, transplanting, DNA/RNA sampling, ratings, notes, and seed harvest.
Assist field crews with thinning, weeding, assembling structures, crossing blocks, rogueing, and seed harvest.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning or sanitation tasks.
Ensure Company handbook, Rules, Regulations, Procedures, and safety policies are followed and personal protective equipment is used correctly.
Must be flexible with daily work assignments and schedule. Valid United States driver's license and the ability to travel. Perform outdoor and indoor work in variable conditions including heat, cold, dust wind, and rain. Field and farm environments with exposure to pollen and chemicals.
