At the present time, the Chester County Intermediate (CCIU) has a vacancy for a substitute lead cook at various locations countywide.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required

Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required prior to hire

PA school personnel health form required prior to hire

Must be able to lift between to lbs. consistently on a daily basis and up to lbs. occasionally.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans, directs, supervises and participates in the preparation, cooking and serving of quantity and quality food as per standardized recipes

Maintain a high standard of sanitation and safety in all phases of the food service program.

Be familiar with equipment and be knowledgeable about its usage and proper care and ensure that all equipment in the cafeteria is in safe, working condition and notifies the appropriate authority when repairs are needed.

To be familiar with the daily menu to be certain if a substitution is made it meets nutritional standards.

Perform inventory of supplies, food and non-food items if needed.

Responsible for filling vending machines daily.

TCHS Brandywine - Boot Road, Downingtown, PA

Learning Center - 5 Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, PA

TCHS Pickering - 0 Charlestown Road, Phoenixville, PA

TCHS Pennock's Bridge - Pennock's Bridge Road, West Grove, PA

Hours:
Hours vary but typically run about 8: AM - 1 PM; Our schools are in session from August ,3 - mid-June 4
