    Summary:


    With oversight from an independently licensed supervisor, provides mental health evaluations and treatments for patients in an assigned area, including the child or adult outpatient clinics (including primary or specialty care offices), May provide mental health services at off-campus location(s) based on the assigned area (i.e.

    in schools, the jail, etc.). Performs diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy treatment, group therapy/counseling sessions, and crisis intervention services. Contributes to preparations for mental health and substance use care programs. Collaborates with Psychiatrists and other colleagues as needed. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.


    Qualifications:

    Required:

    Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other Behavioral Health-related field of study from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or another similar accrediting body.

    Currently licensed by the State of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Experience with evidence-based behavioral health interventions Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Obtains independent licensure within 3 years of hire.

    Preferred:
    Experience with Psychiatric evaluations and dispositions. Experience with therapeutic interventions and treatment planning. Experience with Trauma and substance use treatment interventions.

    Physical Requirements:
    May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required. May need to lift to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate face-to-face, via phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
