Arlluk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester Engineer with a Public Trust clearance to support ATS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Strong knowledge/experience with object-oriented concepts, agile methodology, automated and manual testing tools and methods, and Section 508
• Experience writing test scenarios, test plans, and test specifics for automated and manual tests.
• Incorporate test automation suite into a CI/CD pipeline using JIRA plugins (Zephyr)
• Perform integration testing to validate data push/pull to/from external systems.
• Develop and maintain reusable test cases to support user stories/tickets to help build streamlined and efficient automated test processes.
• Experience with industry standard DB backend, Java, Angular, and React is required.
• Experience with MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Atlassian Jira & Confluence are required.
• Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Test automation engineering skills preferred.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with open-source automated testing tools that integrate with JIRA required.
• Ability to execute regression test suite prior to code drop in pre-production and production environments.
• Define test requirements and automate test procedures.
• Develop test automation suite to validate data and functionality.
• Analyze and evaluate QA metrics (defect densities, open defect counts, etc.) and provide feedback to the development team.
• Perform end to end testing to validate data extraction/movement from the application to report extracts.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
• Ensure test scripts and test data are expanded and updated as needed.
• BS, MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• IT certification is a plus.
• Public Trust clearance required or ability to obtain.
• 5-7 years testing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional, regression, unit level, scenario, feature, smoke, system integration, quality assurance, verification and validation, and section 508 testing.
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders about current and future enhancements.
• Facilitate change requests.
• Performing/Managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide assistance to internal and external customers in the effective and efficient resolution of issues.
• Develop test plans and scenarios according to the requirements and design, producing plans and reports, as well as verification and validation of data and new/enhanced code through all environments.
• Utilize open-source testing tools to create and execute test cases.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test plans and procedures.
• Test modules and applications to ensure they work as expected.
• Review reference materials and requirements to provide feedback on QA level of effort (estimate and prioritize testing activities)
• Create comprehensive, detailed, and well-structured test suites, plans, and test cases.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Perform regression testing when defects are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing functionality to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and product owners to identify and document system requirements.
• Create and maintain traceability matrix to track quality assurance metrics (open defect counts, defect densities)

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
