- Conduct RN-level assessments and provide medical management for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Facilitate return-to-work and workers' compensation programs.
- Assist with international travel health consultations.
- Perform phlebotomy to support research requests, administer immunizations, and conduct TB screening tests.
- Assist in managing OH supplies.
- Respond to medical emergencies on-site and support disaster preparedness activities.
- Conduct medical surveillance exams.
- Ensure OH compliance with State, Federal, OSHA, and workers' compensation regulations.
- Comply with ethical, legal, professional requirements, corporate policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and OH partners.
- Active California registered nurse license in good standing.
- 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Occupational and Environmental Health experience, emergency room, or public health background strongly preferred.
- COHN-S certification strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's of Nursing degree preferred.
- Audiometry and Spirometry Certification preferred.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and rapidly prioritize responsibilities in response to clinical needs and staff population.
- Knowledge of OH and safety principles to establish and maintain a safe work environment.
- Experience with California workers' compensation regulations, claim filing, case management, OSHA regulations, and maintaining OSHA records.
- Strong phlebotomy skills required.
- Ability to perform audiometry and spirometry testing for medical surveillance programs.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and competency with using electronic medical records systems.
