    Job Summary

    The Physical Therapist (PT) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. This role involves completing patient assessments, participating in developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing purposeful and skilled therapeutic care to support patients throughout the continuum of care.

    Responsibilities

    • You will assess and evaluate the therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status of patients and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
    • You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
    • You will instruct patients/family/caregivers in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
    • You will prioritize caseloads, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs.

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Physical Therapist
    • Driver's License
    • Bachelor's Degree

    Benefits and Compensation

    Methodist Healthcare at Home offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
