    Summary

    Join a stable and growing company on an exciting venture project.

    We are looking for a NestJS developer with experience implementing backend application APIs and services for a new SaaS product using AI for application automation.

    Basic product functionality is in place, but there are plenty of opportunities to define and build new services as well as re-architect existing ones.

    100% Remote. One-year contract position with potential for permanent position and equity stake. Top rate for highly qualified candidates. No phone calls and no corp-to-corp please.

    Responsibilities
    Work as part of a small (3 person) tiger team to develop and productize a brand-new SaaS product
    Define and develop backend functionality in TypeScript on and help integrate React/MaterialUI front-end components to create new product features
    Contribute to the overall product architecture and feature roadmap and lead development of new components
    Work collaboratively in a mature and effective agile environment
    Maintain all artifacts in Github
    Qualifications - Required
    Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or related field
    1+ years of experience implementing backend services using TypeScript on on a project that incorporated code reviews or other feedback/training processes; senior devs are also encouraged to apply
    Proficiency with core web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JSON/XML) and DOM processing
    Good understanding of the tools and techniques for implementing RESTful APIs
    Qualifications - Highly Desired
    Expertise in one or more core functional areas of the product which includes domain-specific language design and implementation (using ), web page/DOM parsing and processing, web component classification using ML and vision methods, natural language processing, data analysis, and dashboard implementation
    Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or test automation using WebDriver, Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, or similar
    Experience with MaterialUI components
    Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns such as domain driven design, onion architecture, and even-driven architecture
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    Good verbal and written communication skills (within dev team with no direct client communications required)
    Strong problem-solving skills
    Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
    Compensation
    $50-$80/hr depending on experience.
