    With significant increases in business-driving initiatives in the Digital, AI, International and Marketing spaces, the Sr.

    Legal Manager – Privacy and Digital Product will serve as the first line of legal support for the Digital Product and Technology teams.

    The Sr. Legal Manager will also support global privacy compliance generally and work cross-functionally to comply with these increasingly complex requirements.

    Your Impact
    Serve as the "first line of support" for Digital and other data-centric teams, which includes actively participating in Quarterly Digital Planning Sessions, conducting initial review of all Digital Product initiatives to determine which projects requiring legal support, and responding to ad hoc Digital legal questions
    Work cross-functionally with Digital, Technology, and other data-centric teams to address privacy requirements and identify gaps, risks, opportunities; develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to global privacy challenges
    Conduct privacy assessments (and data protection impact assessments when required) on various data-centric initiatives with the goal of identifying, analyzing, and minimizing risk
    Identify training needs for Digital, Technology and other data-centric teams (e.g., cookie compliance, SMS text message requirements, consumer privacy rights, etc.) and develop practical training materials and reference documents
    Communicate privacy requirements and risk to the broader cross-functional teams
    Assist in assessing the impact of new and evolving global privacy laws on existing organizational processes
    Collaborate on the continued development and maintenance of the Company's global privacy program
    Support other global privacy efforts as assigned

    Minimum Salary :
    $107,000.00Maximum Salary : $145,950.00
    VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown.

    Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.

    Qualifications
    Your Experience

    Global Privacy Expertise:
    Possess in-depth knowledge of US Privacy laws and other major global privacy legislative frameworks, demonstrating proficiency in navigating complex privacy regulations
    Privacy Experience: 3-5 years of privacy experience in a customer-facing, eCommerce, retail company or US-based global consumer company preferred
    CIPP or CIPT certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
    OneTrust and JIRA/Confluence experience a plus

    Privacy and Technology Acumen:
    A solid understanding of the interplay between privacy and technology issues, showcasing an ability to address privacy concerns within a technological context

    Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills:
    Establishing and nurturing cross-functional, collaborative relationships with both business and technology partners

    Exceptional Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively conveying privacy concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating understanding and compliance across the organization
    Ability to work independently, yet still be team-oriented and collaborative
    Adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work under pressure – is flexible, maintains effectiveness by adjusting behavior, work routines, and habits to meet a goal and/or changing circumstances
