    We are currently looking for a DataBase Specialist for our client, a private school located Hartsdale, NY, to manage their Raiser's Edge database.

    This is a Temp-to-Permanent position (consideration may be given for Direct Hire placement). Previous

    nonprofit/fundraising/development

    experience and/or knowledge of Raisers' Edge or similar

    fundraising/development

    software REQUIRED for consideration .

    This is a fast-paced office where you will be communicating and working collaboratively with colleagues, alumnae, donors, faculty, students, parents, and other constituents.


    Hours:
    8:30-4:30 M-F (ability evenings/weekends as needed for meetings and events)


    Salary:
    $45-60K DOE.

    Position Overview:
    The Raiser's Edge Database Specialist is a member
    of the Advancement Team and reports to the Executive Director of Advancement.
    This individual will work closely with the other members of the Advancement
    team and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Raiser's Edge
    database and ensuring data cleanliness and integrity, timely donor
    acknowledgment and thorough reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the entire Raiser's Edge database, including the gift
    acknowledgment process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing and
    acknowledgement of gifts and pledges

    • Responsible for processing, recording, reporting, acknowledging and
    maintaining accurate information on all gifts and donors in the database

    • Generate daily and monthly financial reports, as well as mail and donor lists
    for the Executive Director of Advancement, Principal and Associate
    Director of Alumnae Engagement Events

    • Update, maintain and properly code all constituent information in Raiser's
    Edge as well as track all important donor information for alumnae, board
    members, students, members of the community, etc.

    • Prepare weekly acknowledgment letters for the Executive Director of
    Advancement to personally sign

    • Responsible for exporting Constituent information from the Maria Regina
    school website, as well as the creation of a variety of forms including events,
    donations and questionnaires

    • Collaborates with the Finance Office to reconcile all gift donations and
    financial information in the Raiser's Edge database (i.e. credit cards, checks
    and Venmo transactions)

    • Assist the Executive Director of Advancement and Associate Director of
    Alumnae Engagement Events, with database and website aspects of the
    planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, alumnae events and
    parent club events

    Required Skills:

    • Expertise with Raisers Edge Database, with at least 2- 5 years' experience
    • Proficiency with technical knowledge of databases and query language
    • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
    • Working knowledge of Educational Networks website
    • Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with colleagues throughout

    the school community:
    alumnae, donors, faculty, students, parents and other
    constituents

    • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
    • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
    • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in a
    fast-paced environment

    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for Meetings & Events

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2-5 years of professional experience with the Raisers Edge Database
