    Job Summary:


    The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst works with the IT Security Team to streamline the access and control process for the health system.

    This role will participate in the development of the Erlanger Identity and Access Management requirements to better facilitate system access and user auditing of credentials of Erlanger system users.

    This individual with participate in IAM audits and help improve the role-based security structure at Erlanger.


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
    The Identity Access Management Analyst will:

    Manage ticket queue and provision access requests or security changes as requested.

    Helps define processes and procedures for provisioning and removal of access.

    Escalates and notifies management of policy/procedure discrepancies and violations.

    Participates in IAM use cases to evaluate, collect, and document IAM requirements and processes by collaborating with business stakeholders. Assist with incident escalation, enhancement requests, and evaluation of risk.

    Works with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.

    Involvement in documentation for the IAM program.

    Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.


    Education:

    Required:
    AA/AS degree Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Computer Information Systems, Information Management

    Familiar with access management processes and procedures governing personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI)


    Preferred:
    BA/BS in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management


    Experience:

    Preferred:
    Working knowledge of Information Systems Security Operations to include prevention, monitoring, detection and response

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

    Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.

    Working knowledge of HIPAA security rule and other applicable local, state, federal laws and standards.
