    Description

    Global Construction, an industry-leading general contractor operating in CO, AZ, FL, WA, KS, and TX, is seeking a renovation superintendent with 7+ years of experience for commercial/multifamily renovation projects ranging between $150K and $10 Million. Prior experience working on commercial renovation projects, including Senior Living Facilities, Multifamily, Hotels, and Occupied spaces is highly recommended.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work on-site to oversee and lead the entire construction process
    • Monitor the performance, progress, and quality of the projects
    • Work closely with the Project Management staff to set and manage performance goals and deadlines
    • Check the means and methods implemented on the project
    • Set up and manage the project schedule and budgets
    • Supervise staff and subcontractors and provide constructive feedback
    • Keep track of material stock and orders
    • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
    • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly and adhere to all internal Covid-19 protocols.
    • Communicate with clients and internal team on project progress.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    A minimum of 7 years of commercial renovation with general contractor experience in occupied spaces, with a focus on interior tenant improvements in multifamily, senior living, and/or hospitality markets is preferred.

    • Ability to lead projects, manage resources and build teams
    • Excellent leadership skills, specifically
    • Ability to delegate tasks
    • Ability to verify quality and accuracy of work performed
    • Ability and desire to teach and motivate team members
    • Must be able to establish a good working relationship with many different individuals, including clients, PMs, subcontractors, and crew
    • Must understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications and be knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations
    • Must work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize potential problems before they arise and stay ahead of potential issues
    • Understanding of project scheduling software
    • A valid driver's license
