Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse functions as a member of the patient care team in providing competent care to patients according to their individual needs. Performs nursing history and physical assessment on an ongoing basis. In conjunction with the patient and family, develops individualized patient care plan based on nursing diagnosis. Provides direct nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Evaluates and documents the patient/family response to nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Maintains a safe working environment, adheres to all hospital policies and procedures and reports problems or concerns to charge nurse or Manager. What qualifications you will need:
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum: State of Texas RN License. ACLS, BLS, Preferred: CCRN
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum: 2-years medical surgical
· Preferred: 2-5 years Cardiac Telemetry/Critical Care, JCAHO survey
