    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our K-5 school-based team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to provide individualized behavioral interventions and support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other behavioral challenges.     Responsibilities:

    • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed clinician.
    • Provide direct support to students with ASD or other behavioral challenges in classroom, small group, or one-on-one settings.
    • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress towards individual goals using ABA techniques and methodologies.
    • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive outes.
    • municate regularly with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on intervention strategies.
    • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in psychology, education, or related field required (masters degree preferred).
    • Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) preferred.
    • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting.
    • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
    • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with special needs.
    • Willingness to undergo a background check and any required training or certifications.
