    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE


    Leads and supports the Workplace Violence Governance Committee, which is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects and education relating to workplace violence.

    Works with an interdisciplinary team to mitigate the risks of WPV events.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    The Human Resources teams provide a professional, fair and knowledgeable approach to supporting employees, management, volunteers, candidates and visitors.

    The HR teams provide guidance in employee relations and interpretation of policies, procedures, and contract language, as well as facilitation of leave and disability management.

    While Recruitment, Training, and Compensation & Benefits functions are centralized, those departments and the Human Resources teams work hand-in-hand to provide excellent service to their customers.


    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
    Three (3) years program

    development/management

    experience, with at least one (1) year of Emergency Management, Workplace Violence, and/or Security experience, required.

    Time management - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues.

    Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.

    information/situations.

    Ability to work with all levels within the organization, facilitate communication, and effectively document related activities.
