    Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate need for a Planner in theManufacturing Planning department at our Cleveland Works facility. The Planner will be responsible for building production schedules and collaborating with other functions to address scheduling issues.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Plan and build production schedules
  • Resolve scheduling issues with Operations management
  • Participate and support delivery initiatives and improvements
  • Work with expeditors and Commercial to ensure schedules are meeting customer requirements
  • Participate in training activities as needed
  • Available for periodic weekend and holiday coverage
  • Other ad hoc duties as requested
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, troubleshooting and strategic thinking
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Be reasonably proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations
  • Production scheduling experience or experience in activities that have supported the scheduling activity
  • A basic working knowledge of steelmaking/material flow a plus
