    You Belong Here. Join our Sibley Nursing Team as a Float Pool PRN RN and become part of world-renowned Johns Hopkins Health System

    Float Pool RNs choose a clinical service area in which they work and must meet the requirements for their chosen area. Float Pool RN areas and requirements are as follows:

    • Critical Care Float Pool RN - competent to work ICU, ACC (Telemetry), and one of the following areas: ED, PACU, Interventional Radiology, or Outpatient Recovery
    • Med/Surg Float Pool RN– competent to work in Med Surg areas: Adult Medical-Surgical (7A, 7B), Oncology (5A), Orthopedics (6B)

    Unit/Schedule

    • Nursing Float Pool
    • Per diem, minimum requirement 12 hours/week
    • 12 hour rotating shifts (7a - 7p and 7p-7a)

    Minimum Education and Experience:

    • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
    • Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
    • 2+ years RN experience in an acute care setting.
    • AHA CPR card
