The OpportunityDescription
We're looking for a Inventory Control Clerk, working in the IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in Houston, Texas, United States.
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.
Opens and closes manufacturing orders and all that entails.
Performs physical count of inventory including cycle counts and reconciles actual stock count.
Receives, labels, and delivers goods to proper locations after Quality inspection is completed, re-stocks items as necessary.
Keeps inventory locations correct systematically and physically.
Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ensures that products received are in accordance with purchase order specifications.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required for Your Success
High School Diploma or GED
3 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Great Plains experience preferred
High attention to detail preferred
MS Excel skills with proficiency in other MS office products
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or inventory control
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
Database management skills
Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
Clerical, word processing, and/or Microsoft excel/office skills
