    The Market Intelligence Analyst will support the Capture Team by providing situational awareness, intelligence production, and analysis for the US Federal Civilian market.

    The candidate will analyze using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction from market information.

    Primarily interacts with the sales organization and other internal groups (such as Government Affairs, Partner Managers, Product Development, Operations, Global Business Units, Marketing, etc.); may also interact with external customers to develop and facilitate ongoing business and business relationships.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Market Research and Requests:
    Lead the development, review, and submission of US Federal government market research requests (RFIs, SSNs, Agency Budgets, OMBs).
    Support business development by providing market research on upcoming government contracts.

    Data Collection and Analysis:
    Collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential customers.
    Track and analyze US Federal Civilian trends, issues, policies, and best practices.
    Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and correlations.
    Identify new data sources to support business questions and monitor data quality and accuracy.
    Analyze customer feedback to inform product and service development.

    Competitive Analysis:
    Prepare market share and competitive landscapes.
    Identify and monitor key competitors and their strategies.
    Monitor and analyze industry and competitive developments.
    Develop and manage market intelligence data collection and analysis processes.
    Develop tools and techniques to improve market intelligence processes.
    Track and report on key performance indicators.

    Data Management and Analytics:
    Design, develop, and implement data intelligence models, algorithms, and dashboards.

    Insights and Communication:
    Go beyond the numbers to draw out key insights from the data.
    Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    Analytical Skills:
    Ability to effectively gather, analyze, synthesize, and present quantitative and qualitative information.
    Experience with market research techniques and tools.
    Advanced knowledge of Excel and other analytics tools.

    Government Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the US Federal government and its procurement process.
    Ability to source and interpret Federal Agency budgets and OMBs to dissect spending allocations aligning with Oracle capabilities.
    Possess a basic understanding of core information technology concepts.

    Communication Skills:
    Fantastic and concise writing and presentation skills.
    Ability to effectively present market intelligence findings and insights to key stakeholders.

    Experience and Education:
    5+ years of experience in market research, business analysis, and competitive intelligence.
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree highly desirable

    Strategic Decision-Making:
    Proven track record of utilizing data to inform strategic decisions.

    Work Skills:
    Able to work with minimal supervision and effectively multi-task competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    US:

    Hiring Range:
    from $73,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    Paid time off:
    Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.

    For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

    Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

    Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
