    Wabtec is seeking a Buyer who will be responsible for the evaluation and approval of vendors and authorized purchase orders for goods and services.

    Need to be familiar with a variety of field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
    Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Selects suppliers with Supply Chain Manager based on criteria such as quality certification, capacity analysis, financial analysis, etc.
    Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.

    Knowledge of general office practices.
    Customer service and telephone etiquette.
    Minimum Qualifications for this position require bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
