Job summary
Prepares portions transports and serves food and beverages as assigned follows standardized recipes menus and production sheets as necessary Sets up patient tray assembly carts reads menus accurately assembles tray so patients meal selection and diet prescriptions are followed Washes prepares service ware pots according to sanitary standards insures clean well-maintained service ware used for food handling patient meal service Maintains compliance with Policy Procedures HACCP NYSDOH Follows standard practices storing issuing covering labeling dating foods Properly disposes waste garbage Prepares portions labels serves special nourishments supplemental feeding patients Rotates stock storage areas Sweeps mops floors washes equipment proper agents supplies Sets up cafeteria stations serves food customers replenishes food supplies keeps station clean at times Passes out collects patient menus assists patients menu selection Receives signs for issued transporst supplies kitchen other areas throughout hospital Does general cleaning all areas in food service
