- You have at least 2 years of current work experience responsible for the repair and refurbishment of Beckman Coulter brand (plus more) of clinical laboratory analyzers
- Associate or higher degree in biomedical technology, electronics, or related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Current residency within a reasonable commute to our Bellport location. Relocation assistance is not available.
- Other manufacturer certifications are a plus: Abbott, Hitachi, IL, Olympus, Ortho, Roche, Siemens, Sysmex, and Thermo Scientific
- Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) is preferred
- Certification for Beckman Coulter brand analyzers is preferred
- Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Identify issues with clinical lab analyzers, including chemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, immunoassay systems, and other specialized equipment during the refurbishment process.
- Repair and Refurbish: Perform repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance on lab instruments.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Calibration and Testing: Calibrate and validate equipment to meet quality standards.
- Conduct functional tests to verify proper operation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, quality control and service history.
- $40.00-$50.00 per hour based on education, experience, level of skills relevant to the role

Lab Advanced Solutions ("LAS") is a lab equipment, product and services business headquartered in Bellport, New York.
