    Our Johnson City, TN Location is looking for someone to join our team as a CNC Machine Operator on 2nd Shift.

    This shift is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

    Sets and adjusts machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation and gauging.
    Activates machine start-up switches to grind, lap, hone, debar, shear, or cut work pieces, according to specifications.
    Observes machine operations to detect any problems; Operates 6-8 CNC Machine Files New Beckhoff (MKNBs).
    Selects machine tooling and changeover details to be used, utilizing knowledge of machine, production requirements and process documentation.
    Maintains housekeeping (5S and 6S).

    EDUCATION


    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, or combination of work experience and education; Six months work experience and/or training on metal machines preferred.

    Minimum of six months to 1 year machine operation experience or equivalent technical work/education experience.


    Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural documents and safety instructions.
    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    Basic computer skills such as data entry, manufacturing software, email and internet applications.

    Daily routine will consist mostly of production work requiring light to medium physical activity.

    Provided safety glasses to be worn at all times in CNC cell
