    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assists with resident care by making beds and ensuring cleanliness throughout the unit.
    • Transports residents safely and efficiently to various areas of the community.
    • Distributes essential items, including clothing protectors and linens.
    • Promotes independence by assisting with dining room tasks, such as presetting coffee and drinks.
    • Ensures residents have access to clean ice water pitchers and cups.
    • Maintains order and cleanliness throughout the unit, including cleaning utility rooms, wheelchairs, and bedside areas.
    • Organizes and labels resident personal care items.
    • Transports soiled clothing to laundry or for repair.
    • Fills linen carts and distributes linens as needed.
    • Participates in resident activities and encourages social interaction.
    • Reports any unusual occurrences, changes in resident behavior or physical condition, or refusals of treatment to the Unit Charge Nurse.
    • Complies with company privacy practices and federal laws related to resident and employee records.
    • Adheres to proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by Bloodborne Pathogens Standards.
    • Demonstrates teamwork, regular attendance, and a commitment to providing quality care and services.
