    Manager, Construction

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on Pre-Design tasks:
      • Define project program with Hospital Administration teams.
      • Develop budgets and constructability analysis.
      • Facilitate CON submittals with required documentation.
      • Help select architects, engineers, and contractors.
    • Contribute to Design tasks:
      • Review estimated costs against project budget.
      • Ensure project program aligns with approved budget.
      • Participate in coordination meetings.
    • Support Construction tasks:
      • Analyze contractor cost estimates and bids.
      • Verify invoices and monitor project costs.
      • Visit construction sites for quality control.
    • Other responsibilities include:
      • Maintaining financial records.
      • Assisting in managing projects with varying capital budgets.
      • Performing miscellaneous duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    · 3+ years of design and construction experience.

    · Knowledge of healthcare facility engineering, design, and construction.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    · Solid management and organizational abilities.

    · Travel availability to project sites with varying physical accessibility.

    · Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations such as JCAHO, ADA, OSHA, and NFPA.
