We are looking for a Janitorial Service Manager who is not only a leader but also a team player — someone who is willing to work alongside the crew, set the standard, and take ownership of both people and accounts.

Position Summary

This is a working management role. The Janitorial Service Manager will oversee daily operations, support and train staff, maintain client relationships, and personally manage assigned cleaning accounts. In our company, leadership means leading by example and being willing to step in wherever needed.

Responsibilities Hands-On Cleaning & Account Responsibility

• Maintain assigned cleaning accounts and personally complete scheduled services
• Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations
• Fill in for team members when coverage is needed
• Perform quality checks and correct issues immediately
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Team Leadership & Support

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to train and supervise a team.
• Provide hands-on guidance and coaching
• Foster a positive, respectful work environment
• Help build a dependable, accountable team culture
• Address concerns quickly and fairly
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Client Relationships

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients
• Conduct regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction
• Handle concerns professionally and promptly
• Build long-term client relationships based on trust
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Operations & Organization

• Assist with scheduling and staff coordination
• Monitor supplies and equipment
• Help manage labor and supply costs
• Maintain clear communication with company leadership

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of residential and commercial cleaning experience
• Leadership experience preferred, but strong initiative is essential
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
• Someone dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently
• Willingness to work in a hands-on role daily
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties regularly
• Ability to travel between job sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Office Manager on reviewing job schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
