    Job Summary

    This part-time LPN position is a staff role that involves direct care responsibilities as well as supervising caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse will oversee nursing personnel to deliver care and coordinate delivery within the scope of practice, ensuring resident needs are met according to professional standards through physician orders, facility policies, and federal, state, and local guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    Requirements

    • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
    • 2-3 years clinical experience, with gerontological nursing including dementia population preferred
    • Able to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
    • Able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner

    Physical Demands

    The incumbent must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods. Additionally, they must be able to push and pull objects, lift and carry up to 20 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis (occasionally up to 50 pounds unassisted).
