    American Traveler is hiring a RN for a permanent night Medical/Surgical position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Work on the Medical Unit White 8 in a hospital setting
    • Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00
    • Thirteen-week contract assignment
    • Uses EPIC charting system
    • Patient care for Medical/Surgical population
    • Responsible for individualized nursing care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating plans of care
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and provide accurate, detailed reports
    • Flu vaccine required without exemptions during flu season
    • Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
    • Parking is not validated; public transport and public parking are available at daily rates
    • Professional dress code required

    Requirements

    • Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and principles of nursing care
    • No specific years of experience required
