    Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Emergency Medicine North Adams, MA


    Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician seeking a flexible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are looking for passionate, highly qualified locum physicians to provide exceptional emergency care at Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital.

    This pivotal role offers the chance to work in a collaborative setting, supporting communities in need while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.


    Required Skills:
    Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
    Valid Massachusetts medical license
    Strong clinical skills with a focus on trauma and emergency care
    Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Meditech
    Commitment to patient safety and quality care


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Prior experience in a Level 3 trauma center
    Additional certifications such as ATLS, PALS, or ACLS
    Experience working in hospitalist or acute care settings
    Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
    Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred
    Prior locum or temporary physician experience is advantageous


    Other Requirements:
    Availability for morning and night shifts, with flexibility for 8, 11, or 12-hour shifts
    Must be licensed and credentialed in Massachusetts
    Ability to float between healthcare facilities as needed
    Credentialing process completion prior to start date
    Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements provided
    Hotel accommodations available during assignment
