    Description

    Job Summary:

    After an initial training period on processes and the function of several production lines the intern will be responsible for developing an on-the-job training manual for employees to assist them in all requirements to maintain the operation of all associated automation components.

    The Manual will contain all information pertaining to how to troubleshoot automation issues, as well as handling the specific resolutions for the production stops.

    This project will assist us in gaining further insight into our current run times and utilization of each production line to help us to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies.


    Knowledge | Experience | Skills:


    High School Diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited University pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree in Engineering or enrolled in a Community College pursuing a degree in industrial maintenance.

    Excellent communication skills are required.

    Strong computer skills (MS Excel & PowerPoint) are required and the ability to develop interface applications which can be used by our technical teams to reduce troubleshooting, reduce setup, and machine downtime.

    Solid technical writing skills are required.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Implement and track improvements to efficiencies.
    • Document in-process results.
    • Document and report production improvements at present to management.
    • Ability to work in a safe and effective manner.
    • Assist in training to new standards developed.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
