Sr MuleSoft Solution Architect
POSITION SNAPSHOT:
The Sr.
MuleSoft Solutions Architect will document and architect solutions for integrations with existing systems as well as design new microservices using industry best practices.
This will include handling new and existing integration with downstream systems, overall api spec design, new and existing system design, and networking design.

DAY IN THE LIFE...
Work with product owners and Client to come up with technical requirements for the high level business requirements
Partner with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency and quality of solutions
Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
Work with tech leads to ensure development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
Identify gaps and risks, then define solutions to solve them.
Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to more junior architects
Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS
10+ years of experience in analysis, design, implementation, development, and support of technology solutions on large initiatives Minimum 7 years of experience producing architecture deliverables such as technology designs, overviews, design patterns, technology roadmaps, and strategic technology blueprints within an architecture framework
5+ years of experience with MuleSoft API management/Enterprise Service Bus technologies
7+ years experience with Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
Experience creating APIs from scratch
Experience with integrating multiple systems and data mapping
Demonstrated application of skills and knowledge across digital technologies (Cloud, Data, App Architecture (APIs, microservices, event streaming), and automation
Experience securing and managing APIs
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong drive for self-learning and problem solving
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with server-less infrastructure and services
Experience with data modeling
Experience with common relational database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines
Bachelor's degree (MBA) preferred
5+ years of experience as a Product or Project Manager or similar capacity
Experience in requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, and user stories
Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe
10+ years working within Digital / Creative Technology
Experience defining & managing product/project budgets
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders, external partners and engineering teams
Proven analytical capability with experience using data to drive product vision and strategy
Must be detailed oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure
Demonstrate accountability, prioritize tasks, and consistency in high-quality delivery
Show a desire to learn and dedicated to professional development
