    The Business and Lab Operations Coordinator will be responsible for understanding and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the vivarium. They will work with the Vivarium team to assist in the upkeep of the facility.

    Additionally, they will perform all purchasing for the Vivarium group and ensure vendor management with respect to timelines, deliverables, contractual agreements, and budget.


    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Manages the day to day operations of the vivarium which include but are not limited to:
    • Reagent sweeps of vivarium spaces
    • Temperature and humidity monitoring
    • Organizing
    • Inventory Tracking
    • Waste Control
    • Restocking
    • Vivarium lab supply purchasing
    • Vivarium equipment support
    • Vivarium equipment purchasing
    • Vivarium equipment placement
    • Communication and collaboration with the Equipment and Vivarium teams for maintenance and any issues identified
    • Receiving
    • Works directly with Logistics Coordinator to coordinate receiving of items and offloading of pallets- including food, water, cage supplies, and equipment
    • Has direct understanding of receiving workings and can provide coverage for receiving if needed.
    • Follows all SOPs and animal welfare guidelines as they pertain to job related duties
    • Manage contract requests and purchase orders for Vivarium, as well as for other functions on an ad-hoc basis
    • Budget monitoring and forecasting: Assist with reforecasting, as needed, using information from assigned functional area regarding activities, timelines, deliverables, and costs; support monthly or ad hoc reviews of actual budget versus forecast.
    • Maintains blanket POs (Purchase Orders) for recurring orders of lab supplies or services
    • Interface and collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and Purchasing departments
    • Assists in coordinating vivarium equipment maintenance activities
    • Acts as immediate SOP SME, providing SOP draft support for Vivarium leadership review
    • Provides team with key updates regarding vivarium changes
    • Performs other job duties as assigned

    Desired Education and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of prior relevant experience
    • 1-2 years of experience working in lab animal field preferred
    • Strong documentation skills and the ability to multitask are required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail are necessary
    • Ability to handle and appropriately prioritize multiple tasks and exercise flexibility
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • GLP experience preferred
    • Ability to work independently and proactively
    • Candidate is required to be on site M-F; allocating time to location as business needs dictate
    • Evening or weekend work may be required

    This position requires work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States.

    The targeted salary range for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges.

    The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta's compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
