    North River Builders Inc has an immediate opening for a multi-talented Lead Carpenter to join our quality-driven residential remodeling/renovation company.

    This is a hands-on Lead Carpenter position, not strictly a supervisory role.

    The position also includes the use of a company-provided work vehicle. Join a team of talented craftspeople who care about each other and about doing great work. Our projects are typically in the Route 128 area West of Boston.

    Pay Rate:

    The person best qualified to determine your appropriate pay rate is you, so please arrive at your interview ready to discuss your desired hourly rate.


    Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Strong sense of accountability for all aspects of the project
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent problemsolving skills
    • Ability to run a clean and safe job site (OSHA certification a plus)
    • Experience in residential remodeling/renovation (experience with highend homes a big plus)
    • Extensive remodeling experience, from Kitchens & Baths to wholehouse renovations and large additions
    • Ability to both perform and supervise fast and accurate framing and fine finish work
    • Open to learning about new methods and materials
    • Able to lead a team or work solo as required
    • Must be nonsmoking, substance free
