    Your Function

    As Corporate Counsel, you will be expected to provide professional legal services to support our operations in the U.S. primarily located in Wayne, PA and Des Moines, IA.

    This position is in the "Shared Services" corporate legal team which provides legal advice primarily in areas such as procurement, compliance/regulatory, human resources, privacy/cybersecurity, intellectual property, insurance, among other things.

    Day to Day


    This Corporate Counsel role will be primarily involved with regulatory and procurement matters, as well as supporting other "Shared Services" areas, as needed.

    Corporate Counsel will be generally expected to perform the following functions:


    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of procurement agreements, including IT contracts, purchase contracts, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
    • Manage legal risks associated with IT procurement activities, including data privacy and cybersecurity.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain high quality contract templates and standards for use.
    • Review new or existing laws and regulations as applicable to DLL on a regular basis and as needed.
    • Assist DLL stakeholders with the interpretation and implementation of applicable laws and regulations.
    • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of company policies and procedures.
    • Upon request, support other Shared Services areas such as Human Resources, Intellectual Property, and Privacy/Cybersecurity matters, as needed.
    Essentials


    • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance or a related field of study.
    • Juris doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
    • 2+ years' experience in a legal environment as a corporate lawyer.
    • Enthusiasm for learning new areas with ready to roll up your sleeve to assist positive attitude.
    • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

    Applicable Pay Range

    $109, $153,029.79

    DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations.

    The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location.

    Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason.

    Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications.

    Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

    This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies.

    Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
