We are looking for a hard-working roofer to join our team. You're an experienced roofer, proficient at installing, maintaining, and repairing roofs. You use the proper techniques, materials, hand, and power tools to get the job done right. You've also completed a training program or apprenticeship.

The ideal candidate has the physical ability to lift heavy materials, can read new construction blueprints, and is comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Employ hand and power tools to measure and cut materials
• Check and understand new construction blueprints
• Identify and fix broken shingles, sheet metal, and other roofing materials
• Clean debris from roofs and gutters
• Treat roof surfaces with coatings of bitumen, caulk, and cement
• Restock inventory of roofing materials
• Build roofs, vapor barriers, and vents that protect buildings from weather conditionsQualifications
• Must know low slope roof systems
• Must know how to identify roof leaks and how to solve them
• Must be a proficient hand welder
• Great balance, and ability to lift heavy materials and tools is required
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have valid driver's license
