• PennsylvaniaExperience required : PHD, IP Experience, Drug Product (Transdermal, Oral Films, Formulation), Small Molecule experienceMolecular Search is currently seeking a highly qualified Manager of R&D for a Drug Product Delivery CDMO located in Pennsylvania.

This pivotal role requires a candidate with a PHD and a comprehensive skill set encompassing IP experience, expertise in Drug Product development including Transdermal, Oral Films, and Formulation, as well as significant experience with Small Molecules.


Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee research and development activities related to Drug Product delivery within the CDMO.Drive innovation and excellence in formulation development, with a focus on Transdermal, Oral Films, and other drug delivery systems.

Manage a team of scientists and researchers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment of R&D efforts with business goals and objectives.
Utilize IP expertise to protect and leverage intellectual property assets related to drug product formulations.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize drug product development processes, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the R&D lifecycle.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements, applying relevant insights to inform R&D strategies and decision-making.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the R&D team.


Requirements:
PHD in a relevant scientific field, with a strong academic background and research experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Intellectual Property (IP) related to pharmaceuticals and drug product development.
Proven track record of success in Drug Product development, particularly in areas such as Transdermal, Oral Films, and Formulation.
Extensive experience working with Small Molecules within a pharmaceutical R&D setting.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance in all aspects of R&D activities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
