    POSITION SUMMARY:


    Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing, deadline-driven environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

    In this role, the Marketing Manager creates and delivers compelling content, manages, and implements the marketing plan, and executes and measures marketing programs leading to increased sales and brand awareness for the organization.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Works directly with the third-party marketing firm to develop and implement the marketing plan, integrating into all aspects of the company.

    Manages internal marketing team, currently consisting of Graphic Designer (1).

    Formulate, direct, and manage marketing and sales activities to promote products and services, working with Executives, VP of Business Development, Directors, and Business Development Managers.

    Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives and market characteristics.

    Supports third-party marketing firm in executing social media strategy and content planning/maintenance, website maintenance, and all other digital marketing efforts.

    Assists in developing objectives and strategies to meet sales and marketing goals through a regional marketing approach, working with the third-party firm on planning, development, and implementation of advertising, merchandising, email marketing, and trade promotion programs for all Roeslein's locations and divisions.

    Assists in the preparation of information and materials for external presentations and proposals.
    Assists in the development of brochure materials and preparation for customer presentations.
    Researches and capitalizes on different marketing opportunities to improve product marketability and profitability.

    Supports development of market insights for key regions and niches, using internal and external data to formulate strategic plan; Assists in forecasting and tracking marketing trends, analyzing collected data.

    Assists Internal Communications Coordinator with implementation of brand guidelines into all projects.
    Coordinates trade show attendance and creation of supporting marketing materials for tradeshows.

    Continues self-development on industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, attending conferences and workshops, reading professional publications, maintaining a personal network, and joining professional organizations.

    Participates in regular job-related training as relevant to job responsibilities, including Management meetings, Business Development Meetings and Quarterly Management Training.

    Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
    Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work per established safety and company requirements.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere.

    Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible.

    All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


    The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.

    The ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. regularly is required.

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
    Ten (+) years of industry or related experience is required.
    Experience developing marketing plans and implementing client, brand, category, and segment strategies.
    Experience operating Adobe Creative Suite CS 6, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro and Dreamweaver is preferred.
    Experience at an agency, serving multiple clients and industries is required.
    Excellent communication skills; both oral and written, is required.
    Requires a creative approach to problem-solving and proactive team collaboration to deliver valuable solutions.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
    Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
    Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
    Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work required.
    Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
    Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
