- Establish solid customer relationships through identifying needs, providing creative and best solutions for customers, and using cross-sell and referral opportunities
- Perform daily teller functions including, but not limited to: receiving deposits & loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night & mail deposits; issuing cashier's checks & money orders; counting, packaging & verifying currency and coins maintained in drawer and sold to vaults; reconciling loan coupons and other transactions; maintaining recommended cash limits in drawer and vaults; performing teller opening and closing procedures to ensure teller stations and bank access areas are readied for each business day; accurately balance cash drawer at the end of each business day
- Uphold confidentiality of customer and proprietary information
- Maintain security of cash & valuables
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Cash handling experience preferred
